How to install

Three steps to your glow.

Aura lives right where you watch.

  1. Open the Firefox Add-ons page

    Visit Aura on Firefox Add-ons in your Firefox browser.

  2. Click “Add to Firefox”

    Follow Firefox's prompts to add the extension.

  3. Open a YouTube video

    Click the Aura button in the player and let the atmosphere in.

Does it collect data?

No. Nothing is collected or sent. All processing happens locally in your browser, and settings stay in your browser's local extension storage.

Does it work on Chrome?

Aura is available for Firefox only for now.

Does it slow down my PC?

Aura adapts automatically to your PC. For more control, you can switch to the Canvas engine and lower quality in Advanced settings.

How do I turn it off?

Press G while watching a video on YouTube, or use the Light tile in the Aura panel.
